Finally, we've bought our tickets to Taiwan for this Nov.
It's been long. Our shared dream as teenagers. Growing up in a family that doesn't go for vacations at all has not been easy, at least not for me. This, I have never whined about it before to anyone - hmm not even Wei Lei - how much I envied people who can fly to US every Dec holidays. In my secret heart, I longed to take a flight out of Singapore to see the big big world. At least when I was younger. The time has come to close this chapter of my life.
Some things happened in the year I began work. Hai decided to quit, take a good long break before scouting for a new job, agreed to Joseph's wedding proposal, found a new job that has a six month probation period. There were times i thought it's impossible to go already, that our teenage dream would not be fulfilled anymore but swallowed my doubts down so that I may not add to the burden of her considerations. Perhaps she could tell.
After all, we've shared the same air when we sleep in one room, there must have been some connection.
Hai asked me if I would mind, if Joseph joins us. I joked that I'm destined to travel with my sisters & their boyfriends before they get married :P After matching some dates, seeking approval from our supervisors, there remains a one week period where we can trio bid sayonaro to work.
Can't wait to scream "Welcome 2 Taiwan~!!!!!!" Hello, Sun Moon Lake, Alishan, Taroko Gorge, rice terraces and megaaaaaaaaaaaaa sausages!!!
