Imagine this.
Our kids, given homework.
mel's: wa lao....
mine: GG.
wan's: woohooohs~! (then realise it's homework....) oh. i need a pen.
jane's: (silently retrieves a pen for wan's. continues to write down the name and date on the homework, machiam printed)
mandy's: ahh, which pen should i use? light blue, blue black or just blue? hmms. i'd go for light blue. it's my colour lately.
rebec's: sounds like a plan~

good laughter.
but.

we want our kids to say proper english.

so we have a bet deal. i am to stop saying GG (and win and/or handsign is victimized too) and mel is to stop saying wa lao. the discussion goes on.

mel: sometimes ur blog is so singlish that i don't understand. do u pray like this?
me: proper english. must respect abit.
mel: but god understands singlish.
me: really? WIN.
