the concept of behaving like an agent keep getting mentioned now. boss seems to really love his analogy. autonomous, guided by own goals and values. WIN.
boss also started to mention abt taking autonomy for our software. to become the owner of the software. (which the lab already is, no?) then he swung to me becoming the expert. ohhhh. hokays. i see some arrow launch... the owner is then to have vision of what the model can do/become. Beyond have a problem, analyse with the model, forget abt the model. Keep sharpening the model and generate how it can be used in future or answer future questions.

The storm of work continues. Now, didn't I just blog ytd? It felt like it's been a week. Each day gets loaded with a week's worth of work. Time to adopt Dave's concept of take all the work u can.... just that u hv to delegate. Uhoh, but I can't, cos unlike Dave, agentding.n(kakia) =0. Hosay~
But I still think I have wonderful bosses. Will always rem W's joke abt how YM left his wingman (me) behind in big man's room :D
On this note, i'd like to give myself some credit on stress management.
the jcbabes made it good tho. just that at one point in time, i realised i was munching with 3 attached girls who began to discuss wad to give for vday prez. HMMS. sc asked if she has to give a vday prez, we gave our comments and ideas, then she said actually they've alr celebrated it (w/o giving him a prez) >< WIN.
coincidentally, zx brought the 7 habits book today! flipped through it and realised it doesn't exactly say how much time to approportion to each quadrant. rather, it mentions the Pareto rule: 80% of ur value comes from 20% of ur activities/tasks (completed).
mentioned GG N times to chingching jie while working out on the algo. she asked me what's GG - Good Game//Game Over. “我们是不是有代沟？”哈哈。
