The bus stop ads for Macdonald's Monopoly claim that there's 1 in 4 chances to win.

What does that really mean?

According to the website,

it means 1/4 of all the game labels printed feature an instant-win prize (both
food and partner instant-win prizes), that’s over 2.1 million prizes to be won.
BUT because they are printed and distributed randomly, it does not mean that
every 4th label contains an instant-win prize.

i swear the website put the "BUT" in caps as it is.

The anal me would like to say that they're talking in terms of game label.

A game label is what is given away with Extra Value Meal™ purchases and inside
EACH game label there are TWO game pieces which tell you what you’ve won or need to collect

That translates "1/4 of all the game labels printed feature an instant-win prize" to 1 out of 8 game pieces may (good luck to you) have an instant win prize, like a packet of small fries.

Actually it kinda worked for me, for that 8 game pieces i received for my upsize meal, i received an instant win of the monopoly deal card game~! Which i was eyeing! Just that i dun think this one includes the shuffle holder... but i'm glad enough :) :)

Curious: how many EVM are munched up each day..? If 1 in 8 game pieces have an instant win, and there are over 2.1million prizes to be won, about 16.8 million (or more) game pieces printed...

Asked joshua what he'd do if he win the 50k$. He just wants to change his computer (to play his dota and other games) and get a drums set. Young boy... may i just say i'm very disappointed that it turned out to be just a match it up game? :/ almost kena conned by marketing strategies... haiix. For this and other things (eg the conspiracy theory that the sentosa cove game piece is not even printed), i've lost the enthusiasm to play this "game"... shall eat when i eat bah...
