Savings machine

when i was 23, i drew a cute graph of how much i hope i have up to the age 60 to retire.
at that time, i spent only $400 a month, and 6 months expenses was under $2500. amazing!
i wondered how i could be able to pay for a wedding, which at that time i budgeted $20k.

today, at age 27, i've reached the savings amount i thought i would gather only at age 45.
it is amazing how much Alex and i have saved jointly, for that i call us the savings machine. he says his parents are the real savings machine (which i do not refute).
i've hardly done any investments on my own, and i really wonder if that would even be necessary given the amount we can do just by saving - that's risk free.

in my cute graph, however, what i drew was an exponential curve, so im supposed to double that amount in 5 years time.
how am i going to achieve that? God knows.

for now, i'm just super thankful for the abundance freely given from above.
