P is for...

The toddlers class letter of the day is P. P for pounding. Pound, pound, pound it well. To go with the story of the wise and foolish builder.

There's mama 'P' and baby 'p'. May Nar's cute way of teaching the kids capital letter and small letters :)

Asked the kids to throw out more words starting with the letter p. They're only 4 years old... but they know penguin (and seal eats penguins), party, pig, panda, parrot, and PARACHUTE! Amazing kids aren't they. Tian Le even know pats. On second thought, i could have misheard it - kids their age shouldn't know pats. Should have been pets.

Under the influence of Tian Le's contribution of *pats, gave each of them a pat on the back when they finished writing down three of the words on an ice cream stick. It's nice to encourage them, and I have to admit it was self-therapeutic.

How could this end without a kids moment? Natania started asking for ice cream sticks to write "i love mummy"... then "i love daddy". then Wei En also want ice cream sticks to write that. It grew to loving their siblings, their grandparents, their maid, their family... Eventually, Jovan was the smart one to bring the closure with, "Teacher, can you help me to write I love everybody?" :D

Perfect.I felt so lousy today. I said, better to feel lousy now than to cry next time, little did i know the next time was the next moment.
