march is opening up nicely~

the gancheong abt meeting the director; cos it's prolly smth to do with the confirmation and i dunno wad to say abt my career plan. the bestie that alleviate the worries - your director already knows wad to say and he may already have a decision. loves!

then he flew me aeroplane. had an urgent meeting. i was so relieved on one hand and on the other, sian that the confirmation will be delayed.

however, in that same afternoon, I received my confirmation letter! Woohooohs~~~~

senior was sitting beside me and urging me to open it, eh see if got pay increment anot la~ then when i've opened it, and abt to read it, he added "tho that time i didn't have any" ><>

thankful for the time mgt course this week. if you procrastinate on the biggest things and waste time like me on fb and blogging.... i dun think u need the course. u just need to wake up ur idea n decide wad u wanna do.

Handling tasks

make a list of wad u have to do. as specific as u can

categorize the tasks - do i need it today? does it add value to my proj or targets? is it routine work?

estimate a time required, and

do those that u need today and allocate a time in the schedule to do the most other impt but not urgent tasks.

Handling interceptions

- when ppl come to find u for discussion, stand up before they sit down. it will cut the conversation short.

- when u find ppl for discussion, to get them to listen and give u efforts, say how much time u need and how many points u want to cover.

it didn't really work for me tho... cos edmund always call! hahaha. he's one focused guy tho. so it's good. just get the work done everybody! yay

i'm gonna try sleep at 11pm and wake up at 7am. my successful rate has been nil. i dun even reach home by 11pm... how to zzz by then :(:( and wake up at 6am. haiiiiix.

the course gave me a good break from work, tho my mind frequently drifted back to work (unfruitfully) during the course. it was fun, to be on the same table as chatty ppl like shi katt and jonathan and kaki! wootz. talked and wrote a lot of rubbish... learnt a lot of things too... got to chat more with aik fung too, whom i always dun get to see cos he's stranded on a different office level as us :(:(

that was a great day too bcos as i'm out of office, i didn't do OT, and can dun fly aeroplane for pictionary at brewerkz! oh yay. it was uber fun and we learnt that we can be really morbid. the masseur turned into a pathologist, the shower turned into jellyfish and electric shock, the squint was a single eyelid surgery. gossip was a good draw. woodpecker. lim yu beng is gonna be a classic. autumn. i like the autumn. and wan of cos like (to poke about) my australia. haha.

that was abt the only thg i drew that evening, and that was before the game started. i really suck at drawing, i'm glad we make a great complementary team!!!!

so we walked off with vouchers for 4 litres of beer in all. it's crazy. we shud brush up on our draw-the-vouchers-skills :D

that was one time i had my dinner this week.

the other time was friday. the buddy brought dinner down, wootz! duck rice and pig ears. pig ears taste surprisingly good. they look a lil flimsy tho... i had some fun flicking it :P quite happy, cos that day was also sports day, and i didn't exactly have lunch and soooooo tired but had to go on to do the proj runs. thanks buddy~! :):)
