actually it didn't really came in per se, it was more of caller alert. cos my hp batt died again!!! but this time i'm smarter - as though anticipating it - i brought out my hp charger today!!!

So as I was giving up of the 3pm deadline and deluding myself that there's no need to set a deadline, walked out of the office... decided to check my handphone again. and tadah! it was dead. i was super ultra gan cheong after the Monday drama of how Tien Beng tried to contact me from 3pm to 10pm :S (and called my mum who called my aunt D:) chiong back to office to charge my hp.
Caller Alert shows that precious sgh hr number which i can already memorise by now haha. all the ping pong calls. Tien Beng's sms also came in and it made me so darn happy. (I hope I do not fall in love with him.) Quickly dialled back to hear the familiar voice of Yien Ling, the HR woman who has been handling my case and transitions here there everywhere. I seriously think that I'm on her blacklist as troublemaker. I closed my eyes as she deliberated through every word, the notes just float me by, singing a melodious tone.
Except that... My pay will be lower... I honestly think it's impossible to find another graduate with a starting pay as low as mine. but I think the prospects are better and I get to do what I love to do in Svc Ops. At least I'll be a proper SGH staff. *hopefully* in five years' time by the rule of I will excel in anything as long as I want to, my pay will finally reflect my capability. Not that I super gian a high pay... but that'll b shiok more justifiable. especially when/if I get kids.
Not sure if boss will treat me as Mgt Exec or as his own ppl. I definitely don't want to go to work without a desk and computer. I can do a lot more with trust, YES I CAN *try*.
Excited to be working alongside Jing Xian whom I did the engin prof proj with. She's the happening yet can do work with common sense type which is super comforting for me. At least having 1 buddy around will really be good. and yes Kenny, if you will come down to SGH, we can makan tog too! My pay very low leh... can only afford SGH Kopitiam not your atas CBD area restaurants :S

When I recount the drama of all that has happened, the twists and turns and coming back to Mgt Exec and the people involved showing favour to me time and again, my profs and the boss, boss' boss and even escalating to the boss' boss' boss level, to say that I am amazed is an understatement.
Sent out 6 emails since that phone call to thank the profs, to thank the boss and boss' boss, to thank the boss' boss' boss, to reject DSTA HR, to let DSTA boss know my decision. After all the ping pongs... I hope that this is the end of it all.
Please let Thursday go by quickly and let me finally put my name on the line on Friday.
