when life was boring with mugging, browsing apple trailers served as not just a good killer of time, but even more entertainment (like watching simpsons trailer) and tads! surprises!
across the universe caught my attention as more than a mediocre love story; and so caught my heart. (i just re-watched that trailer cos wanted to find the link... ;p flashes of big fish.)

across the universe, an investigation of the '60s.the show is up in US but is not well rated, it seems. i still want to watch it ;p
the website enlightens me that it is a movie musical (ha, i wonder why again i'm attracted) of songs from the beatles. "from the love songs to the political songs, the music and the film would not just reflect the microcosm of a character's experience, but, from my perspective, would also represent the macrocosm of the events that are happening in the world"
all you need is love;
all i need is my perfect movie companion.
that is, if 天时地利人和permits, the show actually does come to singapore.
