the blower's daughter - damien rice, including scenes from closer

umm, this is one show i've always wanted to watch and i did finally watch last year. it was a very clean show, no drama no violence and practically no tears. a lot of sharp lines, thot-provoking lines, wit. gooooood. i like the dry paintings of emotions, and... the moment - as cleanly as possibly termed by julia roberts in the show.

strangers. it's ironic how we open up easier to strangers. that's how city dwellers all are, aren't we? being who we wish to be and looking for ppl whom we tink we would like. (esp developed by the sub-plot of natalie portman taking on the fake name of alice throughout the show - having chosen that name from the park which have plaques of ppl who have done sth heroic)

strangers. it's easy to talk to ppl online - think jude law dating clive owen at the aquarium and all the other gay stuff they said.

strangers. desire and capturing that desire in photos and even putting them up for exhibition. i esp like the part when natalie portman said how ppl attend exhibitions to find agreement (or sth like that). it fills their souls, or so temporarily does.

oh well, it's been more than a month since i caught this show and i still love it.
bring strangers closer.
