caught dvc at the cathay! (honestly, the exclamation mark is for the cathay and not dvc. *oops*)would be great if went at night... but the night prog was even betta... so i made do with the aftnn show ;) (read on for the night prog...)
dvc. hmms. my stand is still the same, it is a fictional thriller to me, and i enjoy it as that. i dun wanna push anythg that i believe is true on anyone else bcos indeed there is only so much i can say, religion, especially christianity is a personal relationship... zi ji qu gan jue ba.
but here's what i haf to say:
i do not believe that jesus is a mere man, who had a child with mary.
i believe that jesus is god, came to earth to die for our sins (thx to adam and eve) and he has resurrected and is now reigning in heaven, where one day i'll be.
somethings that ppl can never get over:
i am not a sinner. jesus is just another human being. how can jesus be sinless. why will jesus die for us. how can jesus ressurect. where is heaven.
and i simply cannot understand why. some times, it is precisely why we need god. to feel small, to admit that there are things we cannot understand, but he is in control. and no, i do not call this self-denial. i feel god, he is here with me :) in sisi's words "peace"
but anyway, there are some really creative ads at the cathay:
buyability scale! goes from "buy now", "give up bali trip", "get a second job", "who needs to eat?", to what it's pointing at... "sell your children"!!
ahh.. now we know what children are for.
"oh for heaven sake - it was on 50% discount. and besides, size does matter."
*grins* let's cross our fingers and pray we dun do such a bizarre thg in our lifetime.
"n-o-t-h-i-n-g. signs you ain't shopping at the right places"
i was half-forced but deep down half-excited to pose with this ad :)
a photo to laugh about 10 years later...

more photos to laugh at 10 years later:
